My Story

Adolfo arrived at Amigos de Jesús with his younger sister and older sister in February 2020. All three children are very sweet and well-behaved. Adolfo is in 1st grade and is working hard to catch up to his class in English; he is doing very well in his Spanish classes. Adolfo is quiet, observant, and is fiercely loyal to the madrinas, padrinos [houseparents] and big “brothers” in his house; they have earned his trust. Since arriving at Amigos, Adolfo learned to ride a bike and is always zipping around on a bicycle in his spare time.
